We're in the final stages of moving from a Microsoft-based system to a Linux-based one.
One of the things we've always prided ourselves on is being right about the way things are going in the world of technology, and we're feeling pretty good about Linux right now.
Linux has been technologically superior to Microsoft for quite some time, but the advances there came at the expense of the "User Interface" side of things, and Linux (very deservedly) had a reputation of being terribly difficult to install and set up, although famously stable once it was running.
Over the last few years, the Linux developers have made gigantic strides in ease of installation and ease of use. Linux now has the best of both worlds: terminal software as good as DOS ever was, and graphics software the equal of anything found on Windows.
Over the next few years, you're going to see more and more of the "specialized" software migrating to Linux.
